Our Modular Homes are built indoors in Climate Controlled Production Facilities – similar to the way your car was built. By building indoors, we also never have to stop work due to rain, wind, snow or other weather conditions. We then wrap your home in protective material to help shield it from the elements. This process helps insure your home is built faster than a site built home so you and your family can enjoy the home you’ve designed. Climate Controlled Construction may be the single most important advantage modular homes have over site built homes.

Craftsmanship/Made In The USA

Many of their craftsmen have been with them almost since the beginning of the company – and it’s not uncommon to find second generation Simplex employees on their shop floors or offices. They don’t simply employ seasonal labor – they invest in their own long term USA based workforce (their manufacturing and administrative offices are in Scranton, Pennsylvania). The value of their extensive experience is incorporated into each and every modular home.

We also pay attention to the details. For example, we have several in-house fabrication shops that can produce finished custom stairs, doors and countertops – another example of the way we build quality into the process by controlling all phases of the construction of your new Reveal Home.

These inspectors will certify that your new Reveal Home meets the building requirements in Virginia and Massachusetts (in many cases your Reveal Homes will exceed these standards).

The folks at Simplex have been nationally recognized by winning the top design award for GREEN Building by the Building Systems Council (BSC) of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

Our Modular Homes are built in one of the most environment-friendly production facilities in our industry. Simplex long ago pioneered the concept of “Planet Friendly Homes”; this means we pay attention to GREEN details. Just about any material that can be recycled such as wire, wood scraps, metal and more are collected at their facilities. For example, they don’t buy paint in cans that then end up in landfills. Instead, they buy paint in large re-usable totes. In addition to recycling, their intent is to use renewable resources such as fast growing wood to help insure the sustainability of our forests.

As part of our Energy Star effort, we are proud to feature products like Energy Star windows, doors, appliances and more in Reveal Modular Homes. Our building systems focus on energy conservation. For example, we foam-seal around electric outlets to help eliminate drafts. Other energy saving options such as On Demand Hot Water are also available. At Simplex, they have an energy star ready program designed to work with your local energy star ready program designed to work with your local energy star rater.
