Our Process
Our process is simple…but it’s not easy. That’s why you need an experienced builder to stay on time and on budget.
Interview
- It starts with a short call to determine suitability
- Next comes an in-person interview where we sit down and discuss your wants and needs
- With enough information gained we discuss the design phase and terms
Design
- This is where we design your floor plan and elevations
- We spec all materials and finishes
- We set allowances for flooring, appliances, and exterior finishes & lighting
- Structural engineering is approved for construction
Review
- We sit down and review the design; its elevations and floor plans
- We review all the finishes and materials used
- We review appliances and fixtures including lighting
- We discuss costs
Cost Estimate
- We discuss ways to value-engineer materials and finishes to stay within budget
- We perform site engineering including site access, excavation, utilities
- We present the construction estimate including costs and timeline
Time to Build!
- Construction begins on your new home
- Site engineering is performed
- The property (land) is made ready for setting the home in place
- Finish carpenters, plumbers and electricians are employed to complete the project
Timeline
The timeline is a moving target that is dependent on many variables. Our typical timeline to complete your home varies from 6 to 10 months due to the complexities of construction and site preparation.
